Meet us...

I'm feeling old! I've just realised we've been Wainuiomata's community pharmacy since 1997! We've grown a bit since our little shop in Norfolk Street! There's now 13 people working at Clive's Chemist all doing our bit to make Wainuiomata a great place to live & work!

Introducing...

Meet Ray, our head pharmacist. Born & bred right here in Wainuiomata, Ray's the life & soul of the party! Fun loving and always on the look out for a good joke, you'll often hear Ray before you see him, as he regularly breaks into song or makes the odd noise whilst warming up his vocal chords!
When not spending time with his four children, Ray can often be found duelling with his long time enemy - his cat!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Vaudin. Sports mad and the proud possessor of rather an exotic name, Vaudin is a keen hockey player and is found every weekend running around the pitch representing his Naenae Old Boys team. Always enthusiastic, Vaudin himself only has one failing - he obstinately refuses to clean his car - much to Clive's horror!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Colleen, our part time pharmacist with a full time attitude! Originally from Taranaki, Colleen is a farm girl at heart, and brings a hard working buzz to our shop! Another sports fanatic - this time netball - Colleen, as you'll see when you meet her, certainly has the height advantage over much of her opposition, and enjoys looking down on Clive!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Jan. As solid and dependable as the foundations of our shop, Jan has been with us for...well, forever! Jan has worked in Wainuiomata pharmacies since 1975 and is known and liked throughout our community! She knows just about everyone. Jan works hard making sure all stock is well priced and enjoys bossing Clive around!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Jo. Another proud Wainuiomata'ian, born & bred, Jo is our pharmacy technician, which roughly translated means she keeps all of us pharmacists in line and makes sure we're working hard! Responsible for our blister packing service, Jo also manages our dispensary and is our Kate Morgan Weight loss expert...!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Julie. A mother of two, Julie is one of the most caring people you will ever meet, in-fact she even has her own fan club - honest! Much of Julie's time is spent working with our elderly customers who appreciate her warm welcoming attitude and friendly smile!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Kim. Kim is one of our pharmacy technicians. On top of the standard dispensary and blister packing work, Kim also manages all of our repeat prescription reminders and makes sure they are completed on-time every week. Kim is a trained Kate Morgan Weight Loss Consultant.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Mareta, our pharmacy technician in training! Mareta started with us several years ago to gain work experience while still at college! It wasn't long however until her hard working attitude impressed Clive, and he offered her full time employment! Mareta has in-fact just committed herself to three years of study so she can become a fully qualified pharmacy technician!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Rana, our newest team member! A trained Kate Morgan Weight Loss Consultant, Rana works in the retail side of the shop and is always here to help you with your non-prescription medicines. She is a busy mum, but  does a fantastic job of juggling home and work!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Lee. As far as Clive is concerned, Lee is the most important person in his life - after all, he is married to her! When she's not making sure Clive gets to work on time, you'll find Lee quietly working behind the scenes, where she manages all of office administration and accounts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Kirsten, our cosmetic guru! Kirsten always gets a real thrill out of helping ladies choose their  cosmetics and making sure they get something that suits their skin type and makes the most of their best features.  Kirsten has an infectious laugh and keeps everyone at work on their toes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Clive. I do everything I can to help make our pharmacy world famous. You'll be able to spot me easily as I'm always smiling and on occasion have even been known to break into song! Something, I'll admit, which seems to have made me quite popular with all the older ladies in Wainuiomata! In fact, I can always rely on one of my ladies to being us morning tea each week!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Meet Michaela.  Michaela comes and helps out after school and on Saturday mornings.  Unfortunately that means she gets all of those jobs that no one else wants to do.  However she is very good about it and is starting to get to grips with everything there is to learn in our busy pharmacy.
